This class includes more than just standing on one foot and holding it.

Throughout the series we will focus on moving balance, stepping, stepping up and over, challenging yourself.
Quick movements, slow movements, and side to side.
All those obstacles you might experience in everyday life!
These yoga classes will include focus on the body parts that are engaged when balanced. Feet, legs, hips, core.
Classes are progressive. Each one you learn something new.
Poses are done standing and supine on the floor.
There will be movement and stillness.
You will learn about the mind /body / breath connection.
If you’re new to yoga, that mind/body stuff may sound a little weird. That is normal.
But really, there is nothing too weird about learning how your mind, physical body and breath all work together.
It is a fact of life.
I teach with a modern-day approach.
The more you know, the better.
Knowledge is power.
And motion is lotion.
So keep moving!

I'm Chris
I am the creator of this course.
I have been teaching yoga since 2013.
I want you to know:
You are stronger than you think
It is never too late to make changes.
Many of the people I work with are in the “boomer” age range. I am, too.
The biggest concern I hear about is balance, they notice their balance is a little off.
Whether playing with the kids, making travels plans, just moving around your home, or out walking.
If you hesitate to get up and do things because you don’t feel confident, this is the course for you!
Truth be told, this is a course that will teach you how to properly lose your balance. How to stumble and NOT fall.
Because really, holding a tree pose for two minutes really isn’t useful in every day life.
What is useful is how to react when that curb jumps out at you or you step on a lego.
It is called muscle memory. The more you practice the more the mind and muscles remember.
Then when things happen - and they will - your body will respond appropriately. Practice!
Everyone is at a different level. We work together.
I create a series of exercises, poses and postures that will strengthen their body, so that they feel confident again.
